General FAQ's

1. I have multiple locations and I'd like to manage each facility within LifeCare Plus. Can I?
   
   Yes, LifeCare Plus supports up to 99 separate facilities through the same easy-to-access interface. With our quick-switch feature, users can jump from one facility to another without logging out - even if their permissions vary depending on the facility. MDS and CarePlans also support multiple facilities.
   
   
2. I can see that LifeCare Plus has almost everything I need for my organization. However, there are some additional features that I require. Is the LSS software customizable?
   
   Absolutely! LSS offers custom programming services to address any unique needs our clients have. From minor alterations to completely custom modules, our team can do it for you. Learn more in Additional Services.
   
   
3. How often should we backup our data?
   
   We recommend a ten-tape (plus one) backup system. This translates to one daily tape for each day (Mon.- Thurs. (2x)) and one weekly tape for each Friday over a full two-week rotation. A month end tape, (the 'plus one') should be kept until the year proves out.
   
   
4. After upgrading to LifeCare Plus, some of my workstations are performing slower than before. What's going on?
   
   In accordance with HIPAA regulations, the software now tracks your activity within the system. Subsequently, more processing is being performed to accomplish previously simpler operations. In most cases, upgrading workstation and network hardware will address this issue. Alternately, logging can be disabled but this is not recommended.
