File In Use Error - But No One Else Is In The System

Problem:
User is in the LifeCare Plus application and receives a "file in use" error. No other users are in the system.

Possible Solutions:
If the server is a Unix server, it is likely that there is a hung process locking a file. The network administrator should connect to the server and kill any hung processes.

If the server is a Windows-based server, it is still possible, although unlikely, that a file is locked on the server. The network administrator should connect to the server and release any locked files.

In both cases, all users should exit from the system before these procedures are performed. If the "file in use" error persists, call technical support at 847-885-8155, x19.
