Changing A Permanent Resident Transfer

Problem:
An independent living resident is permanently transferred to the Health Center. Much to everyone's delight, the resident recovers more completely than anticipated and is able to return to independent living. The problem is that the system no longer identifies the resident in an apartment.

Possible Solutions:
Go into Occupancy Status Changes and select the Review All button. Look for the Permanent Transfer line for the resident. Make a note of the transfer date and delete it. The system should now recognize that the resident is in the apartment. In order to keep a log of the original transfer you must perform two actions in Occupancy Status Changes: a Temporary Transfer to Nursing for the original date and a Return from Nursing. By doing this, you will put the person back in the original apartment and log the transfer and return. If the person is no longer in the original apartment, an Apartment Transfer will also be needed.
