Adding A Photo To Resident Profiles
- Obtain a photo of the resident and scan it into a computer.
- Save the file as a BMP (with a .bmp extension).
- Search for the PVX directory (typically P:\PVX, but each facility's path may vary). Locate the PICTURES directory. If it does not exist, create a folder named PICTURES in the PVX directory.
- Copy the resident's picture file into the PICTURES directory (i.e. P:\PVX\PICTURES).
- Rename the file to the resident's 6 digit ID #, plus the .bmp file type extension. To locate the ID #, simply open the resident's profile and look in the ID field. Remember to make the file name 6 digits (i.e. if the ID # is 000001, the file name must be 000001.bmp).
- If the resident's profile is open, close it and reopen it. The Picture button should now be enabled. Once clicked, a window will appear, displaying the picture of the resident.
