Temporary Relocation Of Residents For Rehab
An important aspect of a CCRC facility is the temporary relocation of independent residents to your facility's health (nursing) center for rehabilitative care. Be sure to follow the proper procedure when transferring an independent resident from their apartment to the health center:
- From the Resident Management menu, select the Occupancy Status Changes function.
- Select the apartment number for the resident that you wish to transfer.
- Click on Temporary Transfer to Nursing.
- If there are multiple residents in the apartment, the system will prompt you to select the resident that will be transferred. Select the line number for the resident you want to transfer.
- The Date Left Facility field will be opened to allow data entry. Type the date that the resident left their apartment and moved to the health center and press Enter.
- The system will prompt you to click the Ok button that appears. If the selected resident and date are correct, click the Ok button to accept the changes.
