Trust Fund Transaction Entry Limit

In Trust Fund Accounting, you may enter up to 10 entries per patient per day in the Transaction Entry screen. Entries over 10 should be entered with a different date.

If there are to be a number of entries to a specific resident's account it would be better to use a date other than the last day of the month. That will prevent any problems when the interest calculation is run.

The interest calculation uses the last day of the month for that entry. If there are already 10 transactions for that person when the interest calculation is run you will get a "Limit Reached" Message. In that case it will be necessary to delete an existing entry and re-enter it on a different date in order for the interest to post correctly.
