Technical FAQ's
- What programming languages are the LifeCare Plus applications written in?
LifeCare Plus is written in ProvideX, an advanced 32-bit offshoot of Business Basic. MDS and CarePlans are written in Borland PowerBuilder.
- What databases do the LifeCare Plus applications use?
LifeCare Plus uses the native ProvideX database system, while MDS and CarePlans use Adaptive Server Anywhere.
- Is LifeCare Plus compatible with Novell?
LifeCare Plus can run over a Novell network. However, certain settings must be made on workstations and within Novell itself in order to ensure smooth operation. Read a technical document on the subject in our knowledgebase.
- How much disk space, memory, etc., does the software need?
