Technical FAQ's

  1. What programming languages are the LifeCare Plus applications written in?

    LifeCare Plus is written in ProvideX, an advanced 32-bit offshoot of Business Basic. MDS and CarePlans are written in Borland PowerBuilder.

  2. What databases do the LifeCare Plus applications use?

    LifeCare Plus uses the native ProvideX database system, while MDS and CarePlans use Adaptive Server Anywhere.

  3. Is LifeCare Plus compatible with Novell?

    LifeCare Plus can run over a Novell network. However, certain settings must be made on workstations and within Novell itself in order to ensure smooth operation. Read a technical document on the subject in our knowledgebase.
